According to a study conducted by Network Consumer Intelligence Research Partners specialized in the field of market research, 20% of Apple's customers during the past year were originally from Android users. At the same time, from July 2012 to June 2013, 42% of iPhone owners have upgraded their phones to new versions of the same device. During the same time period, 43% of Samsung's agents were originally from customers other manufacturers.

During the same period (12 months), for the first time in history, buyers outnumbered the number of smartphones regular buyers of mobile phones, and 37% of these buyers chose to buy a smart phone subsidiary of Samsung Company while 26% chose them buy iPhones. Apart from that, Apple has been able to attract three times the customers from Samsung (33%), while Apple lost 11% of its customers.
